For the 35th anniversary of the Air Jordan 6, Jordan Brand and Awake NY revisit the idea of luxury through the visual language of the bootleg on the Awake NY x Jordan Apparel Collection. The concept is rooted in Awake NY Founder, Angelo Baque’s early adulthood, when traditional luxury felt out of reach and he looked to bootleg culture as an alternative. This project celebrates that aesthetic with the Awake NY x Jordan track jacket that puts a New York spin on a classic sportswear silhouette. Its oversized fit is built from woven nylon with a mesh lining for everyday comfort, while bungee adjusters at the hood and hem let you shape the fit. Finished with an unconventional take on Jordan x Awake NY co-branding.
