For the 35th anniversary of the Air Jordan 6, Jordan Brand and Awake NY revisit the idea of luxury through the visual language of the bootleg on the Awake NY x Jordan Apparel Collection. The concept is rooted in Awake NY Founder, Angelo Baque’s early adulthood, when traditional luxury felt out of reach and he looked to bootleg culture as an alternative. This project celebrates that aesthetic with the classic sport style meets old school NY attitude of the Awake NY x Jordan polo. Made from premium double-knit pique for a textured, breathable feel, with a relaxed silhouette that brings a streetwear sensibility to a familiar staple. Finished with an unconventional take on the co-branding.
